*Storybook Wedding Stationery*

If you are looking for pretty & unique wedding stationery you certainly won't be disappointed with
Knots and Kisses.

Knots and Kisses offers georgous bespoke and 'off the peg' vintage inspired wedding stationery
for stylish couples who want something that stands out from the crowd.

I absolutely fell in love with this range from the lovely Knots and Kisses.

You know me, I fall totally in love with anything fairytale & so absolutely loved these & this range
is called Storybook ~ isn't that an adorable name?
I asked Nikki Ward owner & designer of Knots and Kisses stationery what inspired this cute range ...

'Storybook was inspired by children's fairytales & literature .. so lots of roses, butterflies and birdcages. I wanted to create a little book style invitation so you can write the story of your wedding inside. So inside the wording is completely changeable to suit your wedding ... but of course you can easily have traditional wording instead.
It comes in a fantastic high quality textured print finish with a matching brown kraft envelope.

I envisioned the range working really well with gilt frames, red gingham napkins and a real woodland feel, but also would look very pretty with plain white vintage linen as well.
I comes with all matching menus, placecards etc and matching table plans.'
Thank you Nikki.

*Did you spot the Vintage Amethyst goodies?*

Did you see 60 Minute Makeover yesterday?
Did you spot any Vintage Amethyst goodies?

Well if you did I think you may have had your magnifying glass out!
*tee hee*
They only seemed to use the smaller items so it was rather difficult to spot them but the
Zinc Candle Holders were on the fireplace looking good & the Glass Heart Candle Holders were on the side unit next to the fire along with 1 of the Hanging Birdies & I think I spoted the other Hanging Birdies laid on top of the fireplace too but I don't think I spotted anything else.
The makeover was lovely & Derek Taylor did a wonderful job transforming the home.
I fell in love with the wallpaper in the bedroom!

It was lovely to be featured though & there is a mention of Vintage Amethyst over on the makeover page on the ITV website *here* with all the other suppliers.
I want to thank all the lovely people over on Facebook that follow Vintage Amethyst for all the wonderful support I received yesterday, you are all fabulous!

Anyhoo I thought I would share with you the products that they asked Vintage Amethyst to supply for the makeover so that you can try & spot them!

Above the really pretty set of 3 hanging birdies.
I'm not sure what will be used but I hope we will get to see at least one of the items on screen even if it's for a teeny tiny moment!

The show airs tomorrow ~ Wednesday 23rd May at 2pm on ITV
so I hope you will tune in to see if you can spot any
of the Vintage Amethyst goodies!
Fingers crossed!

*Busy Busy*

The last few weeks at Vintage Amethyst have been manic!
So many orders are flying off to new homes or weddings.
I post about 10-15 of the cream heart card holders per day & about 10 sets of the standing heart place settings per day & that is on top of all the many many other items that fly away to new owners!
So it's extremely busy at Vintage Amethyst HQ which is great!
So it's busy busy here for me but I don't just don't stop! I've now joined a Wedding Collective which is very exciting & perhaps more of that on the blog very soon! I'm also considering a shop in another town ~ but this is in very very early stages at the mo & James is a little worried I won't have time to do that on top of everything else but I'm a girl that loves to try!
*giggle*
I'm afraid I'm not one to laze around much & like nothing better than being busy & getting up to things! I was super good yesterday & got on top of lots of work so I have the day off today & what do  I decide would be best to do on a cloudy grey Saturday ~ at 2pm this was though???
To start decorating the living room!!!
We have wanted to change the colour for a while now. The walls are Wiltshire White ~ which we painted after that photo above was taken *eek* I've just realised how often we decorate!
The Wiltshire White turned out to be a lot more blueish 'white' paint than I had anticipated & was quite cold but we have lived with it for a while now & so time for a change!
I have to admit that it is James that is doing all the painting today but I have been busy too as we bought new curtains & sheer curtains to go up & these need taking up so I have been busy doing that!
I will also be getting my paint brush wet shortly to paint the fireplace in lovely Annie Sloan paint.
*eek*
I am being naughty at the mo though & taking time off to do this blog post so I perhaps better get back to the living room transformation!
Hope you are all having a super duper weekend.

*Love is ...*

My husband is part of an exhibition in London at the moment.
The exhibition is at Heartbreak Gallery entitled Love is ... & is inspired by themes of Love,
all in support of
The British Heart Foundations Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
10% of net proceeds will be donated to the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal, which is funding groundbreaking research.
James' paintings for the exhibition have have been inspired by the original covers from ‘Love Fiction Monthly’, a monthly magazine published in the 1930′s and 1940′s.  He has transformed them into the covers of his imaginary pulp novels, with him as their fiction author!
You can see all of James' painting for the exhibition *here*
View more works in the exhibition *here*
