*Living Like Mad Men*

Have you heard about onefinestay?
If not, it is a fab website which gives you the chance to stay in someones home in London whilst they are out of town!
The homes available are amazing!!!!
 ♥
'The 1960's was a bold era for interior design (and pretty much everything else!), and thanks to Mad Men it's back in vogue.
Plastic changed everything in the home ~ Verner Panton's classic 'S' chair was the first single-form plastic chair & was widely regarded as nothing short of a sensation. Charles & Ray Emes Produced another icon in the form of the
Eames Lounge chair, whilst the Splügen Bräu Pendant lamp gained huge poularity.
It turns out that One Fine Stay hosts are way ahead of the game when it comes to retro interiors, so here is some inspiration from their homes that take us back to the 1960's.

The understated interiors of  Kilburn Lane  would suit handsome, brooding Don Draper down to the ground. The open plan living space has an early sixties vibe & with a variety of quirky sofas, ample vintage film parahernalia & even a hostess trolly, it's the perfect place to sip a mint julep or two.

Harley House shows off a differnet side to the Sixties. Popping with colour, this Marylebone apartment could have you fooled ~ as long as you ignore the high-tech lightening system & stero. The home includes the iconic Eames chair, vivid wall art featuring The Beatles & some showstopping platform shoes!!!! Carefree & genuinely fun, this home is the place to get your groove on!

And how can we neglect to mention our heroine Peggy? Intelligent & self-assured, she would feel right at home at this airy loft appartment in Camden Town.
This light home teams sleek, modern lines with an enormous wall filled with books to keep the creativity flowing for those advertising types.
