Yesterday James & I tootled off to Harrogate as it was the last day of the
Harrogate Home & Gift Trade Fair.
It was a wonderfully sunny & warm day suprisingly after all the rain we've had!
We don't live to far away, only about 40 minutes away so it's a nice trip out for the day & espeically as the last day is always the quietest too!

I found a few new suppliers that I am loving so hopefully there will be some lovely new goodies coming to the Vintage Amethyst Boutique!
We also bumped into one of James' galleries whilst there as they also have an art publishing company too & we spoke to their representative which as it turns out is a huge fan of James' art work & so was really pleased to meet him, which was a lovely start to the day.
But the best part of the day for me was when I spotted the lovely
Catherine Gee who presents 60 Minute Makeover!
I think she is so sweet & just love her.
We saw her a few times wandering around one of the marquees by herself & I was dying to run up to her & say 'I think your lovely & I had products on 60 Minute Makeover in May, do you remember them!!!!!!'

*giggle*
Of course you will be pleased to know I didn't run up to her like a maniac & scare the life out of her!!!!
So we had a lovely day ~ well I did, James was a bit fed up by the end & was looking forward to making our way home, he was hot & tired, but really how long can you listen to a girlie say 'oohhh look, this is nice' & 'what do you think of this' when you barely have an interest in homewares!!!
Anyhoo hopefully you will be seeing some of the pretties I spotted at Harrogate in the
Vintage Amethyst Boutique very soon!

Glad you had a nice time. I love Harrogate for shopping and wandering round.

Oh Alison, I'm quite green with envy! A day in Harrogate....I feel quite homesick now...I could just do with a visit to my old home town...a walk on the Stray, tea at Betty's.....if and when I do make it back, we will have to meet up...my Mum still lives in Harrogate.
