I've made a decision & a difficult one at that, which I have mulled over for many weeks now, which unfortunately affects international customers.
I'm afraid I've decided to stop posting internationally at the moment due to the fact that over the last 6 months so many orders posted to different countries are being damaged or being lost!

It seems as if lately it is every other parcel that is damaged or lost & this costs me time & money, not to say stress as I want all my customers to be happy customers & when things arrived damaged or not at all (!) I feel as if I personally have let them down.
I must say though that all Vintage Amethyst customers are so lovely & understanding & I'm glad to say not one has been nasty at all, which I really appreciate as I know how frustrating it can be when things don't arrive as you imagined.

So I'm sorry to say that as of last night I have ceased taking international orders on the website.
All the international order that were placed over the last few days have been posted yesterday so they will (hopefully!) be with you very soon.

Thank you to all my wonderful international customers, I appreciate your custom & love of Vintage Amethyst as you all send me such lovely emails which I love but I hope you will understand my decision.

Thank you Stefanie, oh it is just so stressful. It is honestly ever other parcel that is damaged or lost now & I was just so stressed about it, but a new year & new start.

Allison, I'm very sad reading this 'cause I would order something today. I've tried to buy some iten on The Body Shop and, unfortunatelly, they don't send to Brazil. Now Vintage Amethist, that I love so much can't send too. I understand your position but I've received my order fast and it was all ok. Xoxo, Celia
I can fully sympathies with you, I have started using air sure signed for but it is sooooo expensive!
Thanks Annie, this is it isn't it Air Sure is soooooo expensive & I'm not sure people would be willing to pay it! In a few months I may reconsider my decision but I was just so fed up over the last few months that I thought I would just stop for now.

Hi Alison, you may be aware already that my daughters, with my help have opened or rather opening an on-line shop.
We have lots of glassware !!! and we have decided the risk is too much and the stress it can cause. I have to say that the couriers have been better with our deliveries than Royal Mail ! who have been a nightmare.
So much gets damaged now. Which is a shame.
When we went to Santorini we were shocked as we watched the airport men load the cases, they were thrown down with a bang literally onto the trolly which takes your cases to the customs, any glass in those cases was surely broken !
It seems the care is all but gone.
I understand fully it was a hard decision.

Hi Alison, I can't say I blame you - I always stipulate on ebay that I cannot ship overseas because I have found myself with less money than I started with due to lost items! It's such a shame but you're a thriving business so you have to do the best for Vintage Ameythyst (and your sanity!).
