*What are you reading?*

I am currently readin Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
This is my pretty pink copy.
I managed to pick this little pretty up two years ago on a thrify shopping trip in a charity shop of all places.
They were selling these pretty 'classics', all new books 4 for a £1!!!
I couldn't believe my eyes at the price & the pretty colours!
Aren't they just delicious?
Now I'm not saying a pretty cover makes a good book but it doesn't hurt at all does it!
So tell me, what are you currently reading?

  1. Gorgeous covers Alison and what a bargain! I've just finished The House At Sea's End by Elly Griffiths and as we are now in the process of moving (again!), I don't think that I am going to be starting another book for pleasure just yet. Also, I'm still reading (boring) textbooks!

    Have a lovely weekend.

  11. A pretty cover is one of the reasons I am attracted to a book. The same holds true for wine bottle labels!

  12. What pretty books!

I've just finished "The Peacock Emporium" by Jojo Moyes and am about to start "The Ship of Brides" by the same author. Not as pretty as your books but they were new copies and 50p each from a charity shop, so that's okay xxx

  14. I have a pretty set of Jane Austen books I've yet to pick up and read! At the moment I'm still reading through Simple Abundance... it can be a bit too heavy and spiritual in places but I'm loving it all the same,
