I thought I would share with you some of my cute Christmas gifts that I received.
Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K.Rowling was one of my gifts from my husband, I really wanted this! *yay*
Above is a really adorable dotty teapot from my sister which came in it's own cute box, how fab! I just love it don't you?
She also was lovely enough to get me these Cath Kidston bags too, as we don't have a Tesco and so missed out on them! So yay for sisters!!!! She was very naughty and bought me lots of other lovely pressies too!
This was a lovely Shabby Chic style key cupboard that I received from my lovely mummy, she was incredibly naughty because of the amount of gifts she bought us, we both received lots and lots and she is really a very naughty mummy indeedy!
I really wanted Miss Read books as I just love her books and so my mum had asked for a list of the ones I needed and so I received all these books from her too! I am soooooo pleased, and I'm on reading the top one Farther Afield at the moment.
I just love tea as I don't drink coffee and never had done so really a perfect gift for me is a pretty tea gift set which this one is one of the lovely pressies I received from my other sister! I haven't opened it yet as I just love looking at gifts sets like this. I remember last year I received a few tea themed gift sets and just loved them all!

Another really cute gift from my mum was this cupcake and muffin recipe book, and it is a standing one too, perfect for baking! It is absolutely full of amazingly delicious looking recipes, although I am on a diet now as yes I did over do it over the festive period (way too much!!!!) so I will share some of the recipes with you but I will only be posting a piccy of the recipe page as I really can't be cooking all these wonderful goodies at the moment!!!
I really was a lucky girl as I received so many lovely gifts, lots of clothes, perfume, Gilmore Girls Season 7 on DVD (eeek I love this show!) 2 pairs of boots ~ one of which is a really cute pair of pink walking boots for our country side & riverside walks! A pair of cute shoes, really snug slippers (which haven't left my feet since Christmas) lots of smellies, I took a bath in White Chocolate Latte bubble bath last night (ooooohh yummy!) oh and far too many boxes of delicious biscuits & chocolates, which of course had to be sampled hence the diet and lots lots more super duper goodies!
Thank you everyone for all your wonderful gifts I loved them all.
I really was sooooo lucky this Christmas, I must have been such a good girl last year! Tee hee!
lol Alison, I am so jealous! I could have received any (or all) of those gifts and been thrilled. You and I are much alike in our preferences :) Oh, and I was lucky enough to have gotten those Cath Kidston bags from a friend who lives in Selsey ;)
ReplyDeleteI was glad to hear that I'm not the only one who doesn't like a big, loud New Year's celebration-- and not much beats crackers and cheese!
