*Sunny Sunday Selling*

Well yesterday was an absolutely lovely day, I can't believe what a difference the sun shining makes!
It was an absolutely gorgeously sunny and warm day. I found my stall at the end of the market and I wasn't even joined on to other stalls, so that was lovely to have so much room around me! There is my little stall above!

This was the view to the side of me!

And this was the view diagonally from me!

The whole village had lots and lots of bunting up, and there was Punch and Judy and a band and I think other things going on but I didn't get a chance to see them!

And this this beauty was a vintage bus that was taking people about and stops right in front of my stall all day and cheered me up no end all day!!!!

There were quite a lot of people about and shopping on the morning but everyone seems to disappear about 1 ish ~ gone for some lovely Sunday lunch no doubt, and so the afternoon was quiet, but I did well with sales on the morning so it wasn't so bad at all!

The stalls that were near me were *Xocolatyl* & *The Moody Baker* both selling delicious things, but I didn't partake in any of them ~ my holidays are fast approaching and so I really had to think of my waistline (unfortunately)!

I was pleased with the day overall, especially as I sold one of my large heart chalkboards and a french style distressed iron welcome sign! I loved both these items and so I love it when the things I especially love sell! (Is that a little crazy)!

At the end of a glorious day it was topped off by them asking me if I would like a permanent position at the market, which I was incredibly grateful for as there is a large waiting list, but I am unsure if I am going to take it! The market is lovely and full of great stalls, as they only allow stalls that make their own goods ~ no bought in goods are allowed (unless their apperance is greatly altered!!!) which is fantastic in this day and age, but I'm not sure if I want to continue doing the craft markets.
At the moment I am currently in thought about changing direction a bit and so I don't want to sign up for anymore markets and then end up having to continue what I am/was doing and really regretting it in a few months time, so at this point I don't think I will take up their offer, although I was incredibly grateful to them!

Anyhoot all in all it was an absolutely delightful day!

  4. Congratulations on being offered a permanent position! It sounds like that's quite the coup if they have a waiting list. Yes, I second the comment about seeing closeups of your stall!

    Glad everything went well :)

  6. So pleased to hear that the day went well for you, it looked like a wonderful place to be. A permanent position sounds like a bit of a coop but I suppose you have to be really sure before committing, I'm sure you are doing the right thing for you.
